Dr. Gladys Chigamba, a dedicated fisheries scientist, combines expertise in aquatic ecosystems with a passion for sustainable resource management. As a CALA Fellow and AWARD Fellow, she is committed to advancing gender equity and leadership in science and climate change action. She is also one of the African Women in Science (AWIS), under ACARE saving as an advisory group member for African Great Lakes. Her groundbreaking in research, mentorship and citizen science bridges research and practice, driving innovation in fisheries to benefit communities and the environment.
