I am currently working on building and validating multispecies models to assess the effects of pollution and climate change on aquatic communities. I have a BSc in Environmental Biology from the University of Chile. During my undergraduate studies, I developed an interest in ecotoxicology and network theory, which led me to focus my bachelor’s degree thesis on the effects of pollution on food webs. I have specialized in theoretical ecology and programming, being able to code in Python, Java, R, MATLAB, Javascript, SQL and Julia. I also have experience working on mesocosms experiments and fieldwork.
