Julieta Gomez-Fragoso holds both a bachelor's and a master's degree in civil engineering from the University of Puerto Rico - Mayagüez Campus. She began her professional journey with the U.S. Geological Survey in 2014. Her primary areas of interest include dam break analysis, bathymetric surveys, and peak streamflow determination through hydraulic modeling. Additionally, she is passionate about water quality, emergency preparedness, and the management of natural hazards.
