Hello! I'm Hanna Innocent, a research analyst at Florida International University. I recently earned my MS in biological sciences while studying how benthic and planktonic diatom assemblages respond to TN:TP ratios in Lake Okeechobee, FL. I'm currently looking for a PhD program in join in Fall 2026 that centers around benthic or planktonic algal ecology. I work closely with diatoms, but I love working with other micro-algae groups as well.
