Isaac is currently pursuing an M.S. in Biology at California State University, Bakersfield, where he is making significant strides in his research career at the McNeish Aquatic Ecology Lab. His thesis research investigates how the invasive aquatic plant Floating primrose-willow (Ludwigia peploides) impacts both the taxonomic and functional diversity of pond ecosystems.
