Josh Perkin is an Associate Professor in the Department of Ecology and Conservation Biology at Texas A&M University, College Station, TX. He is the principal investigator in the Riverscape Ecology Laboratory that focuses on freshwater fish ecology and conservation in Texas, the southern Great Plains, and beyond. He is currently the President of the Texas Chapter of the American Fisheries Society and serves on the editorial boards of Fisheries Magazine and the journal Ecology of Freshwater Fish.
