- This delegate is presenting an abstract at this event.
I’m Sarah Cole, a junior at Brigham Young University majoring in Environmental Science and Sustainability. I’ve always loved being outdoors, and that passion has grown into a strong interest in ecology and hydrology, especially when it comes to exploring and protecting water quality. In August 2024, I had the amazing opportunity to travel to Maui, Hawaii, where I collected water and environmental DNA (eDNA) samples as part of a hands-on research experience. I’m excited to share what I’ve learned and continue growing in my understanding of how nature, science, and sustainability all connect.
